Our mission

Progressive policy reform creates healthier, more resilient communities

DPMI promotes public education & policy reform to decriminalize personal, non commercial use of psilocybin mushrooms across the state of Michigan. By ending the criminalization of these natural medicines, we can improve community wide mental health outcomes, reduce burdens on the justice system and restore the liberty to heal ourselves without fear of prosecution. DPMI works to shift outdated laws by connecting communities to research backed information, grassroots organizing and a broad coalition of support from Michiganders who believe in personal freedom and the undeniable right to utilize the power of nature to heal
